Hearing Aid Fittings
For hearing aids to provide you with better hearing, they need to be fit precisely to your unique needs. Our audiologist will ensure your devices sit comfortably yet securely in/around your ear, so you can wear them all day with no concern. Depending on the style of hearing aid you choose, we may even be able to create a custom earmold for the in-ear component. This will provide you with a perfect fit.
Your hearing aids should never be uncomfortable or cause you pain. If your devices are causing you discomfort, contact our office immediately. We can assess the problem and fix them to ensure they fit properly.
Hearing Aid Programming
Prescription hearing aids, like the technology available at Delta Audiology, are carefully programmed and customized specifically for you. Using the results of your hearing test, known as an audiogram, our audiologist adjusts your devices to match your unique hearing needs, lifestyle, and listening preferences. This personalized programming helps ensure speech is clearer, everyday sounds are more natural, and your hearing aids provide the right level of support in a variety of environments.
Using Your Hearing Aids
During your hearing aid fitting appointment, we’ll take the time to show you how to use and care for your new devices so you feel confident wearing them every day. We’ll walk you through inserting and removing your hearing aids, changing or charging the batteries, cleaning and maintenance, and adjusting to everyday listening situations. Our team will also help connect your hearing aids to any compatible smartphone apps or Bluetooth devices and explain the features available to you. Most importantly, we’re here to answer your questions and provide ongoing support as you adjust to better hearing.
